Reality Checks

Real projects, real data, real communication

In parallel to the DD4D conference, people around the world can participate in gathering information on how we communicate, visualise and understand data in various contexts.

You can download the Reality Check Project Guidelines here.

Bank statements, phone bills, forms, web sites, road signs, and product instructions are types of information used everyday by millions of people.

The Communication Benchmarks Program has been developed by the Communication Research Institute to help measure the quality of this type of information around the world.

Publication

Evidence collected from the case studies and the Communication Benchmarks will be presented at the DD4D conference in Paris in June and at the 3rd OECD World Forum in Busan, Korea, October 2009.

If you would like to support one of the workshops financially or with ideas, facilities and topics please write to us at realitychecks@dd4d.net.
